Fortrinligt foto til sammenligning. Jeg ser mange topskarver formedelst min hustrus fødestavn Færøerne.
Jeg synes, den stejle pande og det blyantstynde næb er så tydeligt selv på afstand - lidt à la tegneseriefiguren "Daffy". Og så har vor hjemlige skarv "vigende hage".
Og læg mærke til, at den dykker med et overdrevent hop. Vi kalder den "hopskarv".
