This individual is without doubt the most well watched Blyth's Reed Warbler in Denmark ever. All previously records were more or less of birds trapped and ringed or from birds seen on the island of Christiansø. Christiansø beeing the easternmost part of Denmark is the hotspot for this species.
The next longstaying individual in mainland Denmark, will probably be even more popular than this bird, since Blyth's Reed Warbler still is a species, which is much wanted by Danish birders.
