May 9th, 2001 local birder Kurt Bredahl Christensen discovered a male Pallid Harrier at Rejsby Sluse, Southern Jutland. This bird has remained in the area until at least May 28, and is often seen displaying. The behaviour of the bird is rather unusual and has probably been pretty annoying to the local Marsh- and Montagu's Harriers because of harrasing the local breeding pairs. It has even been seen handling prey over to a male Marsh Harrier which transferred the prey to a female Marsh Harrier.
