First 2001 record at the best site in Denmark for this species. Seen during 10:41-10:44 hours and again at 11:13 hours by Rolf Christensen. The bird was first flying north west then lost probably landing on the sea when chased by a Great Skua. It was then rediscovered migrating again later on. Read more in Nyheder Om Fugle in Danish. The year's first Swedish record came on 9th August with a migrating bird at Kråkudden, Hönö, Bohuslän, Sweden.
