We have added a new feature to your wp list. It is now possible to se all your wp ticks on a google map:
Rare birds are marked using a red pin the rest with are marked with a green pin. clicking on a pin shows the details about the tick (species, date etc.).
In the panel to the left a list of all the ticks on your wp list is shown. Clicking the individual bird names will make the map zoom to the pin where you have ticked the bird and show the details.
You can zoom in on the map either by using the zoom control or by double click on the map. You can also switch between different types of maps i.e. Satellite, hybrid by using the control in the upper right corner.
In order to make this work you need to update your wp ticks with Geo coordinates. This is done using the old "Update the WP ticks date/location" from your "Update your profile" page. We have changed this a bit to make it easy to add the coordinates:
Simply click on the map and the coordinates from the position where you clicked is copied to the fields latitude and longitude. Remember to save when your are done.
A link to map is placed on your profile page in the wp section next to the "See ranking" link:
Clicking the link will create a pop up window containing the map. Please check if your browser prevents pop up windows from Netfugl if nothing happens when you click the link!
