Five birdwatchers at Heimaey, Vestmannaeyjar found today at 8.15 Am a Black-throated Blue Warbler (Dendroica caerulescens). This constitutes the 2nd record for Iceland and WP! The first was from Heimaey 1988.

1st record for The Western Palearctic! This constitutes the 3rd. record of an Empidonax Flycatcher for WP and Iceland as an Acadian Fly was picked up dead at Selfoss 4/11 1967 and a Least Fly was captured as recently as 6-7/10 2003 at Stokkseyri!.
