5/10 Marabou Stork 2, Santa Pola Saltpans, Alicante, Spain. Both birds have been present here since August 2003.
4/9 Masked Booby 1, Bay of Biscay, Spain. The first Bay of Biscay record of a Masked Booby found by Clive Martin and subsequently identified by Clive and Hugh Harrop. The bird was present on and around the ship from 17:15 3 Sep. until 06:30 4 Sep. when it flew off in Santurtzi Harbour.. (updated: 10/9 10:28 MBH)
29/5 Rüppell's Griffon 1 2cy or 3cy Found exhausted and taken into care, Tarifa, Andalucia, Spain. The bird was originally discovered on 26/5 when it was seen migrating north with Griffons at the Straits of Gibraltar. A very strong evidence of true African origin!!.
