| Hi Kj. It doesn't show on the photograph, but this particular Buzzard is the smallest I have ever seen (not much bigger than a female Sparrowhawk). Normally male Buzzards are a bit smaller than females, but you pretty much need to see them together to tell them apart.
Furthermore this bird is very special in it's coloration (only few very large and almost orange stripes on the throat). Due to the colour and small size I suspect the bird might be a Steppe Buzzard.
