That is a beauty! What an odd shaped head. Maybe there is a strong wind there explaining why it looks so fat?

Morten - The head-shape is typical for the species, and I do not think strong wind(?) nor a high-calorie diet has made this individual any more "fat" than thousands and thousands of its pals.

When I come to think of it: obesity in birds is easier to record by scales than by photografic lenses....:-)

Yes there was a strong wind blowing so the bird may appear a little more hunched up than normal.
