| Dear RICHARD,
SWANS are not necessarily white, and
all DRONGOS not necessarily black.
_______________________
Thanks for showing us this exotic
glossy (in India termed 'Spangled')
EMERALD Drongo species.
With ruff-like gelly feathers (mane?)
around the face, a crest of at least
one spectacular 'hair'
+ a Curved vintage-car tail-design!
PS
Drongos may be aggressive and mimic
calls of other birds. This Asian
species stands out with straight
'hairs' :
WHY is it termed HOTTENTOTTUS?
