Obviously CETTI's exterior may appear like
Wrens',
as its habitat, song and call,
non-migratory, secretive life,
and high mortality in severe winters.
Its song is heard all year, unlike most Eur.
warblers (its cousin, Cinclus, may sing in
mid-winter).
[Unusual egg colour: (letter-) Lacquer-red].
Has it been confirmed (e.g. DNA?) that CETTI
is a Warbler, rather than a warblerlike WREN ?
