Nice catch! I see some difficult birds on picture 2 of your website. The bills of that birds aren't typical for fabalis in my opinion. How are these birds documented in Sweden? As bean goose or subspecific as fabalis or rossicus? Recently I understood that rossicus (tundra bean) probably always has been underestimated in Sweden and several thousands of tundra birds were counted by Thomas Heinicke in the last winters.
I do not know how the relationship is between ssp. fabilis and rossicus in Sweden. Maybe a Swede can respond. In Denmark are the largest flocks of ssp. rossicus primarily on Lolland-Falster in southeast Denmark.
O, I am sorry for the misunderstanding about your home country! I am still very interested in reactions of Swedish. In The Netherlands the identification and particularly variation in both species is under hot debate. It seems that there is much uncertainty in other European countries either.
Morphological research of a big sample of breeding birds from the whole distribution of populations is desperately needed t osay anything about what is rossicus and what is fabalis.
