Which FAMILY could this long-legged bird, walking &
RUNNING(!) on a shady Asian forest floor, belong to??
Length 27 inches - incl. 14" tail.
Well, it's a Cuckoo (Carpococcyx).
Quite amazing, sharing e.g. Big size, long legs and
tail(!) + blue eye patch + RUNNING with another very
large member of Cuculidae - in a DRY environment
in another part of the World:
The Mexican Greater Roadrunner (Geococcyx)!
