Many thanks for this Excellent photo (again!)
of a migrant bird on the rock in Thai, MIKAEL.

('Danske Navne' 2008 terms it 'Rock Thrush').

You clearly demonstrate that even if the White
throat is termed 'diagnostic' in the Male 'WHITE-
throated', (King, 1975), the white patch can be
small like a comma and invisible from the side.

Arten hedder White-throated Rock Thrush.

White-throated Thrush er navnet på Turdus albicollis fra Mellem- og Sydamerika.

commented, MIKAEL's photo shows a ROCK thrush.

Regarding Your reference to the South-american
T. albicollis, kindly note that it is termed
White-NECKED Thrush
in 'Danske Navne' 2008 and in Dunning's guide
to S.Amr. birds, 1987.
