The Malaysian Blue Flycatcher was seen just at the sun was coming up, and in dense mangrove forest. Kinabatagan River is a great place for bird watching, with the Gomantong Caves close by, RDC 2 hours away at Sandakan, and Tabin Nature Reserve a couple of hours away.
