Thanks to Krister Mild, hich kindly have commented some of my observed odd wagtails.
This beautiful wagtail made quite many problems for me to identify and Krister kindly came upon a good and reliable solution.
Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, but I simply were not able to get better images, and I only obsrved the birds few minutes before it dissapeared.
Probably hybrid CITRINE x Yellow W. (feldegg). Such birds are sometimes misidentified as 'taivana' Yellow Wagtail (Sakhalin, northern Japan and parts of north-east Siberia), but 'taivana' generally has a more solid dark ear-covert, not surrounded by yellow behind ear-coverts.
The dark blackish earcoverts suggest that one parent is probably feldegg. Otherwise much like a typical adult female Citrine. This is not female 'calcarata', they are generally indistinguishable from citreola - a calcarata may be separated from citreola by showing diffuse blackish spots on upperparts and all blackish uppertail-coverts. Krister Mild have seen a few birds with this plumage in the middle east in spring. Krister know that some birders have called them 'taivana' Yellow Wagtail but the greyish upperpart and pale centered earcoverts, broad white wingbars etc. exclude that taxon
