Hello Johannes
I think that
your bird also is a Beaudouin's Snake Eagle?
The fine barring in the axillaries (armpits) and on the breast just below the dark hood seems to favour this species instead of
Short-toed Eagle that shows less distinct, more coarse and random barring.
Your bird is more whitish overall compared to the bird I have photgraphed. It also lacks the very fine barring in the basal part of the tail. Perhaps someone with greater experience with this species could shed some light on whether this is age-related (your bird being younger than mine?).
Best wishes, Rune
