This Herring Gull is more denst dark brown owerall than the others Herring Gulls ss. argenteus seen to day, it got a solid dark tail with no white on tip of tail, heavy brown spotted/barred rump and heavy barred undertail, breast and belly denst dark brown, but vere white´ish from legs to gait.
Compare rump with the ssp.argenteus in front.
This should be a good candidate fore a American Herring Gull, Larus smithsonianus ?
