Yes indeed, it's possible to obtain astonishingly good results when iScoping. However, one should keep in mind that the quality of the glass in the scope and eyepiece is of great importance for the image quality. When I'm iScoping, I start to center the cam-lens on the exit pupil of the eyepiece. Then I zoom up all the way to 50x. It's not recommended to use the zoom on the iPhone, because it's a digital zoom which result in grain and noise etc. when cropping to the max. The iPhone 4S has a 8 MP sensor, thus it's better to zoom up on the image when post processing. |
