All the 10+ snipes at the spot raised like typical Pin-taileds = marginally slower than Common Snipes. The Swinhoe´s I have seen raised slower, more like Great Snipes, their marginalky larger size adding to the impression of a bird clearly heavier than common.
Add to this, that Pin-tailed in Ccentral Thailand is a common winter visitor, and Swinhoe´s a vagrant.
