Billedet her er taget hvor Common Bulbul (P. barbatus Schoanus) og Somali Bulbul mødes.
Der ses derfor både rene eks af hver art samt en del formodede hybrider.
Denne fugl var blandt de mere rene Somali jeg så på lokaliteten, men om den er helt ren er svært at sige.

This picture is from an area of overlap between Somali and Common Bulbul. Many presumed hybrids occur in this area.
This bird looks like a Somali Bulbul, but could be a hybrid, since the white fringes to breast feathers are perhaps not extensive enough. |
