A taxon with a rather restricted range and even if present not so bold and out in the open. A lot of the time on the ground in the shade under the bushes in the dead plant material. Also called other family names such as Kieneria or Melozone. Avibase mentiones that the ssp. here is in to a further split - ssp. vorhiesi (Tucson area). |
