Common, acrobatic, noicy, fast and visible like is southern and eastern relative Rainbow Lorikeet.
Very much like RL in size and behaviour, - but distinct differences in colouring in the neck and belly area. Orange/yellow not green 'neck-ring' an very dark back contrasting towards the 'ring'. Lower belly also very distinct dark/black turning yellow compared to RL's scattered blue turning in to green. Despite these very visible differences more authors mentiones RCL as a ssp. to RL
