this bird (and app. 50 others) was very close to the boat, esp. near flockes of dolpins ( same feeding objects acc. to the captain, on a whaletur for approx. 3-4 hours, from Sao Miguel, Ponta Delgarda. best is to take the afternoon tour ( think is was pm 13-17) so you can check the weather in the morning, the hotel reception made the tickets-reservations.
