Cyprus warbler female-types like this can be a bit problematic in the field when not seen properly and can make one think of Menetriés Warbler female-type, due to similar behaviour and lack of any discerning ID-marks. But this bird was rather dark and showed the diagnostic dark spots on the undertail coverts.
