I have been birding since 1979, when I was 14 years old, and visited many countries in the WP since. My aim is to see as many different bird species in the Western Palearctic sensu BWP as possible, with the emphasis on endemic bird taxa.
Birds that have already been split by the Dutch, but are not (yet) on the Netfugl-list as separate species, are mentioned as (incl. ...) in my personal list.

My Netfugl ranking has been updated up to and including 2016.
The above picture is of the Isla de Benidorm where, after a lot of effort, I was able to visit the colony of Mediterranean Storm Petrels in July 2011.
