The bill seems short (perpaps due to the angle), the crest is short, thebasic colour is rather cold brown and the facial pattern very clearcut.
These features would seem to favour Thekla Lark although this species most often shows more well defined markings on the breast than this bird (but again this feature is not seen well due to the angle).
