After arriving on Inishbofin Island, Galway, Ireland in November 2008 this individual wintered somewhere in Western Europe before being seen on Greifswalder Oie Island, Germany on 4th May 2008 and then turning up in Denmark later in May 2008. By looking at the tertial and covert spotting, it does indeed appear that the same bird accounts for all these sightings...
The same observation has been done by danish birders (on this site), although it still seems unclear whether all Mourning Doves will show these distinct patterns or whether there will be an individual varians between birds.
