Hey Carsten nej den er (desværre) ikke set på færøerne men den burde næsten yngle der med de fjelde og mosser der er der oppe.

There is one published record of a broad-billed sandpiper from Sandoy on the 14th june 1982 (Bloch & Sørensen 1984), but following a review it is no longer accepted. But with records from both Shetland and Iceland (5 records) it should be a matter of time before a broad-billed sandpiper was added to the faroes list - but we could use more active birders :-)

Lysforholdene heroppe fra november til marts kan være en udfordring, men kan derimod også give et fantastiskt lys.

Due to that Jack snipes usualy are very approachable the Common snipe seemed to be quite comftable with the situation at a range of aprox 7 meters.
