This Herring Gull is more denst dark brown overall than the others Herring Gulls ssp. argenteus see to day, it got a solid dark tail with no white on tip of tail, heavy brown spotted/barred rump and heavy barred under tail, breast and belly are denst dark brown, but note white´ish from leggs to gait.
Theese features should be good for a American Herring Gull, Larus smithsonianus ?
