Black-headed Batis has been split into 2 species; Eastern Black-headed Batis (B. minor) and Western Black-headed Batis (B. erlangeri).
Both species are sometimes very difficult (or impossible) to separate from Grey-headed Batis (B. orientalis).
The crown can sometimes appear grey (like Grey-headed Batis), especially on birds with worn crown or in strong sunlight.
The bird on this picture has quite grey crown, but the narrow breast-band indicates Black-headed Batis.
