The bird in its natural surroundings whwn looking for food. The Baluran area is a mixture of open grass/bush-land and relative open woods - rather savanna-like. The peafowls are seen in both types of landscape. Since Java is so incredibly over-crowded with people the demands of this bird will give it even more challenges in the future. |
