The earlier upload of a 'rather fluffy' jay from Yellowstone was in my eyes rightfully corrected to ssp. capitalis (thanks !!) - this picture shows two other birds from the same location. Confirming that ssp. capitalis is present in Yellowstone. And just to be up front to any comments... NO - We were NOT feeding the birds... to take pictures they came boldly to the 'lunch-table' at the tent - serving themselves! |
