Seen in open woodland near Fitzroy River.
Subspecies is not clear since birds from this area shows clear intermediate between northern and southern populations of presumably ssp. normani og ssp. melanops - since undertail coverts are not pure black or white - but shows a 'mix'. 'Birds of Australia' calls the mix of ssp. a 'hybrid'. |
