adult, ringed bird... near Broome Bird Observatory. The observatory is absolutely worth a visit and a stay (auto-camping and rooms)and friendly fellow-birders in the shade-hut. In the toilet building they run a check-list of 8 species of which 3 is potential lethal (Western Brown Snake, Death Adder and Red-backed Spider)... my first check-list where some of the possibilities are NOT attractive to you. Aussie humor !! ... no risk, no fun !
Acces: I recommend 4WD most of the year. |
